Dr. Mikaela Shaw is originally from Edgar, NE, just a short drive southeast of Hastings. A graduate of Sandy Creek High School, she pursued her passion for science and healthcare at the University of Omaha (UNO), where she earned a bachelor's degree in Biology. While at UNO, she also made her mark on the basketball court, playing four years of women's basketball and finishing with the second most career points in program history. Prior to attending dental school, she was able to play a year of professional basketball in Portugal.
In 2022, Dr. Shaw received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. She is passionate about bringing exceptional, cutting edge dentistry to rural Nebraska. She is a member of:
